Y.O.U.R.S. Peace Plan Initiatives
Youth Opportunities Underlining Resilient Solution mission is to empower youth in urban communities through communication, education & supportive Services. In order to continue to provide educational services for youth, we need to hear from youth & young adults (13-30 yrs.).
Beginning 2024 we developed the Y.O.U.R.S Peace Plan Initiatives. We believe that it is important to learn from our youth by asking questions to gain better insight of their needs, In New York State, they face many challenges daily. One being, knowing their rights. The purpose of this survey is to determine if they are aware of their rights when they are approached by police, rights about legalization of marijuana, and their rights to affordable housing. We will be creating youth-led workshops based on the feedback of this survey.
